Privacy Policy

This page explains what data huynhdu.info collects and how it’s used. Responsible party: Huỳnh Dự (huynhdu@huynhdu.info).
Data collected
Newsletter signup. If you enter your email in the subscribe form, it’s sent to Buttondown — a third-party newsletter provider — to store and send new post notifications. Signup uses double opt-in: you must confirm via email before you actually start receiving anything.
Besides the newsletter form, this site has no other form collecting personal information.
Cookies & analytics
- Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics (GA4): only starts running after you click Accept on the cookie banner shown when you visit. If you click Decline or don’t interact, these tags never load.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics: measures traffic without cookies, without localStorage, and without collecting personally identifiable information, per Cloudflare’s own disclosure — so it doesn’t require separate consent.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: runs on the newsletter form to block bots, without showing real users a manual captcha. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Notice.
Comments
If the comment feature (Remark42, self-hosted) is enabled, the name and email you enter when commenting are stored on that system to display comments — this feature is not active yet on the site.
Your rights
You can request to view, correct, or delete personal data related to you (e.g. unsubscribe from the newsletter, remove your email from the list). Use the “Request to delete your data” link in the footer, or email huynhdu@huynhdu.info directly.
This policy follows the spirit of Vietnam’s Decree 13/2023/NĐ-CP on personal data protection. Content may be updated as the site adds new features.
