About

Hi, I’m Huỳnh Dự (full name Huỳnh Văn Dự, also written Huynh Van Du). I’m a hybrid marketing, event production, and business operations professional based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with 15+ years of experience delivering brand growth, large-scale event execution, exhibition activation, and channel engagement across construction materials, entertainment, and lifestyle businesses.

I’m proud and grateful to work in a field I genuinely love. It lets me keep connecting with talented people, collaborating with great teams, and constantly learning something new — from complex things like training AI tools, to simple things like figuring out how many hinges a door actually needs.

What I do now

I’m currently Head of Marketing at Aseanwindow (since Nov 2022), leading a 10-person team across brand campaigns, communications, and exhibition execution. The project I’m proudest of is the “Largest Sliding Aluminum-Glass Door in Vietnam” campaign (write-up currently in Vietnamese, English version coming) — certified by VietKings, covered by 20+ media outlets, and tied to a charity donation of 400 million VND.

Career highlights

  • Head of Marketing — Aseanwindow (2022 – present): repositioned the Xingfa brand from affordable to premium; led the record-breaking door campaign; ran nearly 100 nationwide technical workshops that grew sales by 300%; managed 2,000m²+ of exhibition booths at Vietbuild with integrated AR/VR/MR experiences.
  • Marketing Manager — Anh Duy Group (2016 – 2022): grew market presence for distributed audio brands (Klipsch, Denon, JBL, Accuphase…); produced “Gọi Tên Bốn Mùa,” a free tribute concert for musician Trịnh Công Sơn at Hoa Lư Stadium — nearly 20,000 attendees on-site, 3M+ online views.
  • Marketing Manager — SaigonDance (2014 – 2021): built the studio’s overall digital marketing strategy, and worked as Production Executive for the Vietnam Belly Dance Festival — one of Vietnam’s first nationally visible belly dance competitions.

Skills & tools

Brand marketing, large-scale event production, budget and vendor management, PR and media relations, B2B channel training, digital transformation (LarkSuite, Google Workspace, automation with n8n), plus hands-on content production (Premiere Pro, After Effects, 3D with Blender/SketchUp, AR/VR experiences with Meta Quest).

Outside of work

I’m proud to be part of the LGBT community, and I try to stay empathetic, open, and collaborative. No one understands a minority community better than the people in it — and I believe that by sharing and working together, we can reach genuinely remarkable places.

This blog is where I write up case studies from my work, along with a few side projects I’m tinkering with. If you’re looking for someone to run marketing or event production for your project, feel free to reach out.
